He earned his MBBS from Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, followed by MD from M.S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. He specialized in Medical Gastroenterology by completing his DrNB from Medical Trust Hospital, Ernakulam. He then pursued a Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy for ERCP, EUS and Bariatric Endoscopy.
